I'm currently a fourth year PhD student at Lehigh University, where I conduct research with the Scalable Systems and Software Research Group under the advisement of Professor Roberto Palmieri. I previously graduated from Lehigh with my M.S. in Computer Science in 2023, and my B.S. in Computer Science, Summa Cum Laude, in 2021. My research focuses on concurrent data structures, and optimizing them for modern multi-processor, multi-core machines (e.g., those that exhibit Non-Uniform Memory Access).
I'm very passionate about collaboration and supporting my peers, especially supporting women in the male-dominated field. I was the Co-President of the Women in Computer Science (WiCS) club at Lehigh for over three years (2021-2024). The WiCS Executive Board and I built WiCS from the ground up, and I'm proud to say that we developed a community of women in CS at Lehigh who frequently come together for technical learning experiences, professional development events, and social outings. Additionally, I currently serve as the Vice President of the Graduate Student Senate Executive Board, where I communicate with and advocate for students, and work to enhance the graduate life experience at Lehigh.
In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and pets! My orange cat Simon adds a whole lot of sass to my daily life :) I like playing games, whether it be board games (some favorites are Catan and Rummikub), or outdoor games like pickleball or cornhole. I also love music and singing, and one of my favorite things I have ever been involved in was being part of the Lehigh Echoes A Cappella group as an undergraduate at Lehigh.
